Hands-on SHAFE, NET4Age and PlatformUptake.eu mentioned as successful outputs of European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing
Initiatives that are all working to help promote the scaling up of innovative solutions for active and healthy ageing in Europe and beyond.
The collaboration between European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing partners (EIP on AHA) has led to the development of many outputs initiatives. Among others, the Smart Healthy Age-Friendly Environments (SHAFE) Stakeholders Network and COST Action 19136: International Interdisciplinary Network on Smart Healthy Age-Friendly Environments (NET4Age), of which Willeke is the Vice-Chair and AFEdemy the grant holder, are successful initiatives that already involves more than 170 organisations and 300 researchers.
Hands-on SHAFE partners mainly origin from EIP on AHA and decided to jointly submit the Hands-on SHAFE proposal in 2019 to enable a successful implementation of SHAFE at local level. The project Hands-on SHAFE, coordinated by AFEdemy, was launched and approved in 2019. At date, partners are developing the first half of online training materials, that will become public during Summer 2021. The second half is foreseen at early 2022.
Also, the PlatformUptake.eu project, whereby AFEdemy is research partner in charge of developing the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) and leading the Work-Package WP5 INVOLVE, is mentioned in the section platforms.
AFEdemy is also mentioned as one of the examples of use of Personas in the implementation of Smart Healthy Age-Friendly Environments.
