SAA project is completed!

A little bit of background information: Negative stereotypes, prejudices and discrimination based on age are known as “ageism”, which has been shown to cause cardiovascular stress, lowered levels of self-efficacy and decreased productivity. Across the EU, certain practices still reflect ageist prejudices and deprioritise, disregard, or even exclude older adults. Examples include health guidelines that only provide certain treatments for certain age groups, or educational programmes, insurance contracts and job offers with age limits…
An overview of our project: Our newest learning offer SAA (Smart Against Ageism) aims to reflect on this topic, giving multiple incentives to tackle assumptions against other individual based on their age! Under the Erasmus+ programme, organisations from Germany, Portugal, Belgium, Lithuania, Bulgaria and the Netherlands have developed several learning materials like an educational online game, a game guide, a European compendium, a toolkit for trainers, and recommendations for policymakers to actively tackle age discrimination!
If you would like to find out more about the educational offer, please have a look at our latest article on the adult education platform Epale.
Moreover, you can check out our Smart Against Ageism (SAA) online platform, where you can get direct access to all the materials created and interesting background information about ageism.
