Our article ‘Dynamic Transnational Inter-ecosystem Framework for Smart and Inclusive Age-friendly Environments: The Transnational Local-Sphere Model’ was published in volume 63 of Technium Social Sciences Journal.
The article focuses on the ‘Transnational Local-sphere Model’; a theoretical framework describing the possible interactions between actors, sectors, institutions, and ecosystems to foster economic and social development. The model is based on previous helix frameworks, but aims to connect a network of stakeholders through existing local social innovation ecosystems.

The model derives from research that was done in light of the SIRENE project. SIRENE supports the growth of social innovation actors in eco-friendly and sustainable community-based services for SHAFE implementation in Europe, by providing a workable framework for investment.
