Objectives

The project’s objectives are to:

• S01: Further develop a professional and appealing toolkit and training for people with disabilities to assess the accessibility of the built environment, making it available online to a broad audience.
• S02: Use the developed toolkit to train people with disabilities in the Netherlands and Belgium through sounding board groups.
• S03: Gain experience with Erasmus+ partnership projects for new organisations within the consortium.

Target audience

The main target groups of the project are as follows:

• Citizens (18 years and older) with disabilities who wish to improve the accessibility of their environment using the developed toolkit and training.
• Stakeholders in the field of adult education who require training tools to assist disabled citizens in making their environment more accessible.

Workplan

The following activities will be conducted as part of the project:

• Online kick-off meeting
• Set-up and recruitment of sounding board groups
• Brief desk study on possible toolkit and training content
• Transnational partner meeting in The Hague
