Description
Community Scouts aims to develop a training and toolkit for citizens to become Community Scouts, supporting older adults in their communities.
The project’s objectives are to:
- Develop a professional and attractive training toolkit for training Community Scouts.
- Improve the availability of high-quality learning opportunities in adult education.
- Share the results of the project to promote active aging and community development.
The partners involved in the project are AFEdemy, ISIS Institut für Soziale Infrastruktur gemeinnützige GmbH, and VerbindenBV. AFEdemy the project coordinator and is responsible for project management, while ISIS and VerbindenBV are involved in various activities such as curriculum development, research, and testing of the training toolkit.
The expected impact of the project includes providing learning opportunities for citizens, promoting intergenerational contact, and improving community development and informal support for older adults.
To measure the achievement of project objectives, the consortium will use a series of quantitative and qualitative indicators, including feedback from the target groups, progress reports, and assessment of the toolkit’s effectiveness.
