Join our free workshop on gamified adult education on the 27th of Sep 2024, from 11:00 to 12.30 CET!
The workshop on gamified education addresses everyone who wants to promote social inclusion and is eager to learn about age-friendly environments. In this regard, the session can be particularly beneficial for adult educators who are looking for new learning methods or existing materials to transfer knowledge. Together we will address the question of how gamification can be used in educational environments and where its limits are.
The workshop is a joint effort by AFEdemy (The Netherlands), SHINE2Europe (Portugal) and ISIS (Germany), who have contributed to the creation of several education games. Giving an overview, the session will provide an introduction to the concept of Healthy age-friendly environments (SHAFE) as well as elaborate information on gamification methods. For this purpose, three educational games are presented, namely: SAA, SDD, and STEP-UP.
